Mattlee Hall, age 88, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Four Oaks Nursing Home. She was born in Mitchell County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Willard Devault and Eve Buchanan Devault. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, one brother, Paul Duvall; and one sister, Sue Curtis.
Mattlee was of the Baptist faith and worked as a line assembler for Mays Brothers Tools. She loved camping and being outdoors.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, George Washington Hall, Jr.; one son, Kenneth “Ken” Hall and wife Leslie; three grandsons, Robert Brandon Hall and wife Whisper, Matthew Scott Hall, and Kaylyn Miller; and special family, Dorethia and Carroll Charles.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home. Committal Service and Interment will follow in the Garden of the Cross at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Chaplain Ron Land officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
