So sorry to hear about the passing of Nancy and Louie. I was good friends with Nancy for a few years on Long Island. We hung out together and did many things in those last two years of hight shcool. Nancy showed me what a 'poor man's Mimosa' was. Orange juice with Seven-Up. To this day I still like to drink OJ and 7-Up in the summer it is a very refreshing drink. I loved Nancy she was a special person, kind, loving, and had a generous heart! She was a one of a kind person. Thank you, Ginny Castry

I worked at Takoma with Nancy for many years.  She was an excellent nurse and wonderful friend to me.  When I think of Nancy, it’s with a smile on her beautiful face. I will be thinking of the entire family and friends today as each of you celebrate Nancy’s life. I am so sorry for this profound loss. 

Nancy was my dear friend and colleague as we met while working for Medtronics.   She was the smartest and most caring  nurse I have ever known and we worked side by side for 5 years and those were some of the most fun and carefree days.  She had this infectious energy and laugh where you could never have a bad day around her-wasn't possible.  She took you under her wing and made sure everything would be ok and fixed any problem you had or found the solution in her magical touch.  She was born to be a nurse and fulfilled that calling with panache, style, and grace.  She is one in a million and I will miss her every day.  Lou, Tara, Zoe, and Lee, you had the best Mom in the whole world and I know you know this.  She left her mark on all of you and her legacy of being the kindest, most giving and compassionate person shows through each of you and you will carry on that legacy of loving others.  My heart breaks for you as you find your way through this most difficult time.  Please know she was loved beyond belief by everyone's life she touched.  Nanc, I hope you are resting with the angels and all your precious family.  I know they greeted you with open arms.  Thank you for being the best friend to me all these years. Nancy worked with me when I received my insulin pump from Medtronics . She was so patient and caring , always taking time to explain even the simplest instructions to some one as thick headed as me. She made my transition to a pump so much easier than it could have been.  She made a real difference for me and my fellow insulin pump users. I was truly saddened to hear of her passing.  My condolences to her family. 

I always enjoyed working with Nancy at Takoma. She was always cool and collected- made for a great supervisor. Praying for the family.

Nancy was the first head nurse I worked for at Takoma Hospital after I moved here from Knoxville. I enjoyed working with her- such a positive and kind person. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Thoughts and prayers for her family and friends.
