You were a huge influence in my younger years. I loved you like a mother in my teens. I have some wonderful memories of hot chocolate and chocolate fudge, sausage biscuits and coconut cream pies, Music, trying to play the keyboard. Cold nights wearing sweat outfits lol and the most beautiful Easter eggs you gave your daughters every year. Many memories and lots of love. Thank you for all you gave to so many. A life truly with living. I love you Aunt Norma. I am happy we got to talk not long before you went to be with Jesus. Fly like no other🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 In heaven until we meet again❤️

Norma Greene was a wonderful nurse and friend.  She was always a patient advocate and wanted the very best for all she cared for.  She always had a smile to give and a comforting word for all.  It has been a  number of years since we worked together at Specialty Hospital, but I remember her fondly.  Whenever our paths would meet after Specialty, a hug and shared memories resulted.  I know she is rejoicing with Jesus and loved ones gone before in Heaven.  I know you will miss her terribly but I pray God will comfort you with sweet memories.  

I am so sorry I wasn't at the memorial service but I learned about it after the obituary.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  Lori Fatherree

Whitney and Debbie, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I have so many memories with Norma. She was a very special person and I loved her.  Prayers for you and your family.  I will not be able to attend the service this morning, but you are in my thoughts and prayers. RIP sweet Norma. 

Norma had a joy for life few could match.  Her devotion to her family and the stories she recounted kept us all shaking with laughter.  

She was so hurt when she lost her husband and then Mary, her second mother.  They were a pair of retirees who had more energy than a well known bunny. They were the first tgere when a loss was sustained.  

I told Norma   Mary had told her brother about that cute little blond in her nursing class that would make him a wonderful wife.  She beamed and blushed on hearing that.

Todd, Whitney, Rhea and Debi,

I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.  She was always such a  kind and caring person and I know you must feel very fortunate to have been blessed with such a wonderful mother and role model.  Whitney, I don't know if you remember sharing the recipe with me, but I still make the "Norma Greene's Chocolate Loveliness" pies every year at the holidays and yes, they certainly are legendary!  

Keeping your family close in my thoughts and praying that all of your wonderful memories will bring you comfort during a difficult time.

It sounds like I missed meeting a beautiful soul while she was on earth but hope to meet her in heaven one day.  She was obviously a special person and meant so much to so many.

NORMA…where to begin. One of the sweetest memories was when Brandon was 3 and Dr Mark had put tubes in his ears. Norma brought him Frosted Flakes and strolled him around the hospital in a wheel chair. Her never ending joy, love of life, and kind caring spirit touched so many lives. We loved Norma dearly and will forever be glad our lives intersected. To Whitney, Todd, and Rhea, I send all my love and an abundance of prayers as you navigate this loss.
