He is preceded in death by his wife, Truly and his son, Ronald Mercer Jr.
He leaves his three loving daughters, Debbie (James) Williams, Pamela (Walter) Crouch, and Patty (Steven) Brock; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
He liked to remind everyone he talked to after mom’s passing, that one thing he learned in his long marriage to her, is that “TRUE LOVE WILL TRULY CONQUER ALL!” with a sly smile because mom’s name was Truly.
Out of respect for our father’s wishes, no memorial will be held.
