Mom, I know you have great memory now.. LoL Do you remember when we lived in Ledgewood, an d we really didn't have money to buy costumes for the halloween party at the roller rink. You found these long black haired wigs, make up for darker color skin and a headband with feather, fancy plastic necklace, my bell bottom jeans, and wacky colored shirt. You told me I was an Native American Princess, and I felt like one ever since. Thank you for that memory mom, it was one of the good ones I hold dear to my heart...Wish I had a photo of that night..

I still can't believe your gone mom, and I never got to talk to you one last time. I wish we didn't have to hide that we were speaking, or I know we would have had so much more to say. Going to miss you mom

I wish I had pictures of my mom and I when we used to go skating together, or when she used to take us to the movies in New York, and to Newark when she took us to see our grandma Dollie. We used to have so many wonderful times together. She and I were always very close till she moved us to Tennessee. Sorry mom, but I do love you, but wish we never left Jersey.

Most people in this world never get the opportunity to choose their parents, but I did and chose Violet as my 2nd Mama. From the very 1st time we met, this woman showed me how it felt to be loved and have a mom. We talked on the phone nearly every day, we visited almost as often. She left a huge footprint on our hearts and we love and will miss Mama Violet very dearly. It's just not going to ever be the same without you.
