Theadora Joosten Tummers, age 86, of Dandridge, Tennessee passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Theadora was born in Heerlen, The Netherlands, a daughter of the late Johannes Joosten and Anna Marie Marell Joosten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard Joseph "Joe" Tummers on December 17, 2024.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and had worked as a Secretary in Education.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Alexander M. "Mike" Tummers and wife Rebecca; and two grandchildren, Kailey and Landon Tummers.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jefferson City, TN. Funeral Mass will follow at 5:00 PM with Father Jim Harvey officiating.
