Zackary Logan Saylor Smith, age 21, of Bristol, Tennessee, gained his angels wings on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, a son of William Bennett Smith and Rhonda Saylor.
Zackary was a graduate of Science Hill High School Class of 2015 and was a member of the Marching Band. He was employed with Teleperformance of Bristol. He loved music, playing his guitar, remote control trucks, watching and attending Nascar events. Zackary was a very caring and loving son, and will be missed by many.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Bennett Smith; grandmother, Dot Saylor; special aunt and uncle, Donna Harris and husband Eddie; aunts, Nancy K. Bochniak, Sherry Goff, and Mary “Cookie” Saylor; uncles, Lee Saylor, John Saylor, and Eddie Smith; and special cousins, Karen Smith, John Smith, Edward Smith, and Crystal Smith; his girlfriend, Mary Rose Ford; special friends, Lycinda Richardson, Kirstie Smith, and Noah Ford; special neighbors and friends, Don and Sharon Radford; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Andrew Stuebs officiating. Committal Service and Interment will follow in the Garden of the Gospels at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
