Anita J. Ashbrook, age 80, of Johnstown, passed away on December 9, 2013 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Anita was born on October 13, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Viola (Thomas) Patton. Anita is preceded in death by her husband Neil; sons Michael and Joe and sister Theresa Fuller. Anita is survived by her children, Monica (Steve) Thomson, Susan, Daniel, Margaret (Douglas) Neil and Thomas (Lorraine) Ashbrook; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew. Friends may call at the Crouse-Kauber- Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Johnstown on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with a Rosary service conducted at 4:30 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Ascension on Monday, at 10:00 am. Fr. J.L. Reichert officiating. Interment will be at Greenhill Cemetery. Dear Family:
So sorry to hear of Anita's passing. I was picked from a bunch of Caregivers at the Licking County Aging Program to help Anita! I felt grateful for the chance to get to know her. We enjoyed each others company. She was a wonderful lady and will never be forgotten, But will surely be Missed.
