Altas Orion Rudolph, born August 14th, 2025. After 12 brave days of fighting, Atlas’ strength gave way at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He is survived by his parents, Jessica Simons and Logan Rudolph. Alongside them, Atlas is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Sophia and Quentin Amstutz; maternal grandmother, Doris Simons; paternal grandparents, Steven and Gloria Rudolph; and a host of other friends and family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Michael Simons.
Atlas was a precious gift, a beautiful soul who knew nothing but love. Every heartbeat, every breath was filled with courage. In his final hours, he was gently removed from the machines and placed into his mother’s arms, where he passed peacefully.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Atlas’ name to Eagle Wings Academy.
