Barbara Elois Peters

Barbara Elois Peters, age 81 of Delaware, Ohio, died Sunday, August 4, 2013 at The Sarah Moore Home in Delaware. She was born November 1, 1931, in Johnstown, to the late Howard M. and Lola M. (Buxton) Day. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Northview Nursing Home, in the 1970’s. She was an avid animal lover, NASCAR fan, and was of the Methodist faith.

Barbara is survived by two daughters; Lola “Jody” Marshall of Delaware, Susan (Danny) Clark of Radnor, one son; Terry (Vickie) Peters of Centerburg, four granddaughters; Casey, Christie, Nikki (Jay) , Heather, and two great-grandchildren; Mekhi and Brylee.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Gail L. Peters on March 30, 2001, and one sister; Juanita Stewart.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Green Hill Cemetery, in Johnstown, with Rev. Roger Crego officiating. No calling hours will be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Delaware County, 4920 S R 37 East, Delaware, Ohio 43015. Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, in Johnstown, is in charge of arrangements. There will be an online memorial at www.cksammons.com.
