Carl Lester “Les” Jackson Jr., age 78, of Johnstown passed away Friday, August 4, 2023. He was born October 10, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Pearl and Carl Jackson Sr. Carl was a devout Christian, and has been promoted to glory. He was truly a man of many trades and talents, and went on to retire from MI Homes after many years of hard work. Carl was known and will be truly missed for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Carl is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Marianne Jackson; children, Tamara Jackson and Jim (Tracey) Jackson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by brother, Charles “Chuck” Jackson; and sister, Esther “Sis” Parsley. Family and friends may call from 5-7pm Wednesday, August 9, 2023 with a service to immediately follow at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031.
