Carol graduated from Northridge High School in 1964. She was a long-time employee of PNC Bank, formerly BancOhio and National City Bank, in Johnstown, OH.
Carol is survived by her nephews, Craig Rice, Luke Rice, and Joshua Stockberger and their families. She is also survived by her step-children George D (Linda) Holbrook and Karen (John) Wingo; step-grandchildren Ricky Carr, Mindy (Mike) Sileargy, Cory (Jody) Holbrook, and Jason (Mary) Evans; and step-great-grandchildren Jerrad, Nick, Baylee, Christian, AJ, Alyssa, Elana, Isabella, and Michael. She is also survived by several cousins.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband George W Holbrook, whom she married September 17, 1983; her sister Jane Ann (Rice) Stockberger; and her brother, David R Rice.
Calling hours for Carol will be held Monday, September 21, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 N Main Street, Johnstown, OH 43031. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to immediately follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Alexandria, OH. Officiating the services will be Pastor Brian Potts, Alexandria Baptist Church.
