Chris McManus

Chris Clark McManus, age 61, of Johnstown, Ohio passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at his residence surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born April 9, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio. Chris was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. Before Chris’ illness, he was a master scuba diver and avid outdoorsman. Throughout his life, Chris always cherished watching his family, children, and grandchildren grow up and flourish. He loved spending time with his family, going to sporting events, and traveling. Chris is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Teresa McManus; children, Zachary (Amy) McManus and Sarah (Matt) Nieman; grandchildren, Maddox, Harper, Amelia, and Taryn; parents, Gene and Dixie McManus; aunt and uncle, Shawn (Robert) Terry; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Pearl (Glennist) Smith and grandfather, Carl Schmolder. Calling hours will be held from 3-5pm Sunday, January 15, 2023. With a memorial service and military honors to follow calling hours.
