Clyde Edward Taylor, 82, of Utica, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville. He was born March 29, 1942, near Richland, Virginia to the late Gracie and Henry Taylor.
Clyde is survived by his loving son, Corey (Amanda Wedemeyer) Taylor; stepson, Jason Hubbell; brother, Jay; sister, Mary “Sula”; nephew, Johnny; many loving sisters and brothers-in-law; and nieces and nephews, family, and friends. In addition to his parents, Clyde is preceded in passing by his beloved wife of 30 years, Nancy Taylor; and brother, Harold.
Clyde loved going to work with his friends at AVI Foodsystems in Columbus. He and Nancy were faithful members of New Covenant Community Church in Johnstown. Clyde was a talented woodworker and loved his trains and motorcycles.
Honoring Clyde’s wishes, his urn will be interred at Green Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to Mt. Carmel Hospice, https://donor.mountcarmelfoundation.org/.
