Dear Smith Family, My deepest sympathy to all of you at this difficult time. I remember when your family moved and left Valley Forge Elementary school --- it was a great loss. Your family was well liked and participated in school events. I remember Cody & his sisters very well & he always had a big smile on his face when I would see him at school. Your family was really missed & I'm sorry to get in touch with you under these circumstances. Please know we all are sincerely sorry & wish you peace. Karen Merritt, Valley Forge Elementary School, Columbus, Ohio

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith and family,
I am so sorry to hear the sad news today! Cody was in my second grade class at Valley Forge. He was a wonderful student a teacher's dream. He was kind, considerate, helpful and smart. He was well liked by all of his classmates. I can picture him in his colonial costume sitting with his family at the second grade Colonial Dinner. Please know that I and many of his Valley Forge teachers would have attended his funeral if we knew. May God Bless you and your family and know that you are in our prayers. With heartfelt sympathy, Sincerely Susan Chmielewski.

Dear Smith Family - Please accept our condolences on your loss. I did not know Cody personally, but he was a classmate of my son Tony, and my daughter Maria. They have always had wonderful things to say about how kind Cody was and their hearts are very heavy with his passing. We all pray that Cody will rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord, and that you will all be blessed with strength and comforting as you continue to navigate your way through this very difficult time. May God Bless each and every one of you.
