A WWII US Army combat veteran and one of the original members of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, H Company of the 82nd Airborne, who participated in the D-Day invasion of Normandy, Operation Market Garden & the Battle of the Bulge. He was inducted into both the Ohio Veterans and Ohio Military Hall of Fames.
