Emily Stygler

Emily Stygler, age 81, passed away peacefully under hospice care on October 5, 2026. She was born on August 28, 1945. She will be remembered as a strong, independent woman with a sassy spirit, a unique personality, and a true love of life. Emily lived on her own terms and was never afraid to be herself. Her spirited nature and one-of-a-kind way of seeing the world touched everyone who knew and loved her.

Emily was a loving mother to her two sons, Mark and Clay Webb. She also shared a special bond with her nephew, Adam, who held a special place in her heart.

Emily found joy in the simple things she loved most. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and visiting yard sales. She also loved dumpster diving, always keeping an eye out for hidden treasures and good finds. In her later years, her beloved fur babies brought her companionship,comfort, and joy.

Born to David and Dorothy Stygler, Emily is survived by her sons, Mark and Clay Webb; her sisters, Sylvia Gosnell and Melissa Collins; her brothers, Jon Scott and Ted Stygler; and her special nephew, Adam Collins.

She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Genevieve (Justin) Parsell, Bethany (Chantz) Wyant, Alexander Webb, Gabrielle (Jackson) Wilson, Rachael Webb, and Meredith Webb. Her five great-grandchildren—Jackson, Weston, Ellie, Noah, and Charlotte—will carry forward her family’s legacy.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents, David and Dorothy Stygler; her brothers, Donald and David; and her sister, Sally Stygler.

Though Emily will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, individuality, humor, and a life lived on her own terms. Her love for her family, spirited personality, and ability to find joy in unexpected places will never be forgotten.

No funeral services will be held. Her family will remember and honor her privately, holding close the memories, laughter, and love they shared with her.

Emily was truly one of a kind, and she will forever be loved and remembered.
