Ersle Lene O'Harra

Ersle Lene Bush O’Harra, age 80, of Prairieville Louisiana went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 30, 2025. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 2nd, 1945, in Portsmouth Ohio, to the late Ersle and Irene Bush.

Ersle was a great mom, granny, friend, and person to all who knew her. She loved spending time with her family, and especially loved to make her grandchildren smile. She also enjoyed forms of art such as painting and gardening, and admired anything and everything creative. Ersle was an avid reader and storyteller as well. She poured all her love into her grandkids who are extremely grateful for all the wonderful memories they were able to create together.

Ersle is survived by her daughters Stephanie Irene (Bill) Ledet and Ersalee Crawford (Bruce II) Unangst; grandchildren Tessie Lea and Thomas John (Ashley) Moynihan, and Bralee Elizabeth, J. Bentley, Ersalee Abigail, Sophia Jolie Amethyst, and Bruce Edward Unangst III; great grandchildren Piper Marie and Emmett Andrew Moynihan; brother in law Jim Balch; nieces Mandy (Dave) Dargatz and Wendy (Lee) Herron; and a host of other family and friends.

Family and friends may call from 10:00-11:00am Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St. Johnstown, OH, 43031. Immediately following there will be a graveside service held at Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. We thank Jesus for her life and legacy.
