Gwendolyn K. Williams, 94, of Alexandria passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015 in Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born in Roscoe, on April 19, 1921 a daughter of the late Joseph P. and Frances L. (Crawford) Kimball. She was a member of the Alexandria United Methodist Church, the Alexandria United Methodist Women's Club and the Alexandria Garden Club. Gwendolyn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and gardening. She is survived by her sons, Louis K. (Millie) Williams, Pete (Alyce) Williams and James E. (Donna) Williams; a daughter Marjorie (Mike) Ennis; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clark Williams in 1988; and three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12 noon in the Alexandria United Methodist Church with Pastor Ken Barton officiating. Friends may call in the Church one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in the Alexandria Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alexandria United Methodist Church in her memory.
