Jana Lee Simpson

Jana Lee (Trainer) Simpson, 52, of Johnstown, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 23, 1972 in Newark, OH, a daughter to the late George and Janice (Wolfe) Trainer. Jana graduated from Northridge High School in 1990. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Joseph Simpson; children, Jessica (Caleb) Kimble and Justin (Keri) Simpson; grandchildren, Braylen, Cohen and Laramie; brothers, Mark (Jenny) Trainer, Brad (Nancy) Trainer and Jeff (Sabrina) Trainer; mother-in-law, Karen Swartz; sisters-in-law, Laura (Mickey) Zimmerman and Heather (Kyle) Brewer; brother-in-law, Brad Simpson and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jana is also preceded in death by her fathers-in-law, Ronnie Simpson and Roger Montgomery. Honoring Jana’s wishes, cremation will take place. Food and Fellowship will be from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Johnstown Community Sportsman Club, 7357 Sportsman Club Rd. NW, Johnstown, OH 43031. Celebration of Life service will follow at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday at Johnstown Community Sportsman Club. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd.
