

Judith is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Larry, her beloved children, Bruce (Karen) Piper, Hope (Matthew) Link, and Dennis Piper, and her sister-in-law, Christy Garrabrant. She is also lovingly survived by four grandchildren, Meghan (Logan) Malone, Christopher Link, Austin (Teagan) Piper, Ashlyn Piper (fiancé, Alex Bentivoglio), and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Letha Garrabrant, siblings, Janie (Bill) Campbell, Bea (Raymond) Burris, Josephine Garrabrant, Bud Garrabrant, Edwin (Ruperta) Garrabrant, Dale Garrabrant, and Jerry Garrabrant. Also, she was preceded in death by her loving son Douglas Piper and kind-hearted daughter-in-law, Kimberlee Piper.
Judith graduated from Northridge High School in 1961.
For over 50 years, Judith, (Judy) dedicated her life to the children in her community as a cherished in-home child care provider for countless families including her own children and grandchildren. She held an unwavering passion for nurturing young minds and created a warm and welcoming environment for every child. She made a lasting impact on generations of families who will forever remember her kindness and the special way she made every child feel loved and safe.
Judith was greatly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 12, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home in Johnstown. A Celebration
of Life Service will begin at 3 p.m. on the same day led by Judith’s family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions in memory of Judith be made to American Cancer Society, Heartbeats of Licking County, or Hospice.
