Leonora Hazel Keeran

Leonora Hazel Keeran, 91, of Johnstown, walked into the arms of Jesus on Friday, October 23, 2026 at her residence. She was born on July 6, 1935 in Johnstown, OH, a daughter to the late Joseph and Leonora (Ankrum) Bisang. Hazel was a faithful servant to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was known as the ”card lady” for her church, Miller Memorial church. She sent many well-wishes to brighten people’s days. Hazel enjoyed traveling and camping with the love of her life, Bob. Also with her special friend, Sally Blubaugh. A great family pass-time was playing cards with her mother and siblings. Or anyone who wanted to play! She was an avid gardener, enjoying her flowers and watching the birds. Leonora is survived by her daughters, Connie (Jeffrey) Thompson and Deborah (Pat) Bowen; son, Bobby Jr. (Connie) Keeran; grandchildren, Amy (Joey) Kelley, John (Nichol) Walton, Jeffrey (Farrah) Thompson, Travis (Kristi) Walton, Maggie Keeran, Christopher (Jessica) Bell and Rosalynn (Aaron) McBurney; great-grandchildren, Alyssa (Alex), Jenna (Zach), Wyatt, Jason, Mason, Lincoln, Jacob, Isaac, Cailynn, Braden, Jaxon, Easton, Luke, Adam, Kennedy, Kinsley and Colson; great-great-grandson Jace Thrasher and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Keeran and siblings, Joseph Bisang, Pete Bisang, Charlie Bisang, Josephine Crist, Ada Cornwell and Betty Koon. Friends and family may call from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Miller Church, 5241 Miller Church Rd., Johnstown, OH 43031. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church with Pastor Timo Barbosa officiating. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery.
