Leota Pauline "Polly" Swaney

Born in West Mansfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of Emmett and Zenith Johnson. Polly retired from administrative jobs including church secretary in Hobe Sound, Florida and secretary at Otterbein University.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hobe Sound, Florida until moving back to Westerville where she attended the Church of the Saviour United Methodist. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, jewelry making, spinning, and weaving. She will be remembered for her loving, caring spirit and sense of humor.

She is survived by her husband Bob, children Jennifer (Larry) Resnik, Lee Ann (Dave) Cramer, John (Christy) Swaney, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as her siblings, Janet Smathers, Sara (Pat) McMillan, and Dick (Helen) Johnson. She was predeceased by her parents, Emmett and Zenith Johnson and her sister, Charlene (Glen) Hoover.

The memorial service will be held on October 17, at 11:00 at Church of the Saviour, 11239 Fancher Rd., Westerville, OH 43082. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 to the time of service.
