Linda June Plant, 74, of Johnstown Ohio went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Linda was born July 22, 1948 in Cisco, Texas. She grew up in Hamlin, Texas, and attended schools in Hamlin and Anson. During the last week of September, 1985, she met her soulmate, Jody Plant at a dance in Abilene, Texas. They married on February 14, 1986, in Abilene, Texas. Their marriage was filled with love, caring, and doing almost everything together. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Jody Plant; three sons, Chad Maxwell of Oregan, Chance Maxwell of Johnstown Ohio, and JR Plant of Newark, Ohio. A daughter, Tabitha Plant, of Lancaster, Ohio; two granddaughters and 6 grandsons. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Helms of Hamlin, Ohio; her mother, Lillie Helms Jordan of Abilene, Texas; sisters, Geraldine Helms and Sally Bross of Abilene, Texas. Honoring the family’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be at a later date.
