Louise Howard Belt

Louise was born in Columbus, Ohio October 23,1929 to the late Ralph and Alice (Knight) Howard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, George Thomas Belt; son, John; two brothers, Ralph and Robert Howard, and two sisters Florence Paul and Ruth Parrott. She is survived by sons, Thomas (Cindy), Donald (Tara); grandchildren, Catharine (Patrick) Bruski, Adrienne, John (Tasha), Tyler (Bridget); great-grandchildren, Ellie and Jack Belt; and sister, Janet Fulton and sister-in-law Carolyn Howard.

Louise was a retired elementary school teacher in the Northridge school district at Hartford Elementary. A graduate of The Ohio State University, she was a member of the Swan Club synchronized swimming team. Visitation will be held at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 North Main Street, Johnstown, Ohio 43031, on June 5, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place at Hartford Cemetery in Hartford, Ohio 43013, on June 5, 2026. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Miller Memorial Methodist Church or Hospice of central Ohio.
