Lucille L. Peters, 93, of Johnstown, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Flint Ridge Nursing Home. She was born on June 10, 1922 in Batesville, AR, a daughter to the late Allie and Alice (Smith) Dawson. She graduated from Cushman High School in Batesville in 1939 and graduated from Beauty School in Little Rock. Lucille married Roy Peters on September 11, 1942 and they lived on a family farm near Johnstown. She is a member of Fredonia Baptist Church. Lucille is survived by her son, Robert Peters; grandchildren, Robert and Sharon Peters; 4 great grandchildren; nephew, John Prather; nieces, Peggy and Norma; caregivers, Larry, Corinne and Jessica Carrington; dearest friends, Jane Woosley and Oma Miller and many other family members. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, one sister and two brothers. Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031 with Rev. Walter Bruah officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
