Maria Nanette Poulton, age 69, of Johnstown, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville. She was born on November 2, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Donald and Mary Poulton. Maria is survived by her loving son, Cody Thompson; sister, Joanna (Mitch) Hurley; brother, Bill (Diane) Poulton; nephews, Terry Poulton, Cole Hurley, and Donny Hurley; and a host of other family, friends, and love ones. In addition to her parents, Maria is preceded in death by her brothers, Brad Poulton and Bobby-Joe Poulton; and ex-husband, Herbert Thomspon. Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with Maria’s cremation arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
