Mary was born in Bexley to the late Michael J. and Helen H. (Walters) Croak on March 26, 1930.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Sweet, who died on June 16, 2013; her brothers Robert and Richard Croak, sisters Dorothy Burcu, Lucille Bunfill, and Martha DeLong.
Mary is survived by her children Carol Sweet, Susan (John Kramer) Sweet, and James M. (Teresa) Sweet, grandsons Ross and Joey Sweet, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of the Church of the Ascension in Johnstown. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark Ohio 43055. Crouse Kauber & Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
