Will remember always taking my breaks out at the picnic table at Tech with Susie Harrison & Melvin in the good old days. Will miss seeing him & his big truck waiting for opening time at Troyer's. Saw him all of the time there, it seems. Sometimes I would buy his lunch, "just because". He was a big man with a big heart, a big smile, and a gentle spirit. So very sorry to the family for their loss.

Although we only went there two weeks out of the year I still have fond memories of Uncle Melvin. One was his laughter around a pipe clenched in his teeth. He was a strong man with a gentle heart and he'll be sorely missed.
