

Michael L. Wolff, 75, of Johnstown, Ohio, passed away on September 22, 2025, after a courageous two-year battle with Mesothelioma. He passed away at Hospice of Central Ohio in Newark, Ohio, surrounded by family.
Born on April 14, 1950, in Grand Island, Nebraska, Michael was the son of the late Gerald and Roberta (Becky) Wolff. He was a proud 1968 graduate of Aurora High School and a 1970 graduate of Central Nebraska Tech. Michael honorably served his country for two years in the United States Army as a military policeman, including a tour in Vietnam.
On July 22, 1972, he married the love of his life, Paula Schuster, in Grand Island, Nebraska. Together, they raised three children, who were their greatest joy. For many years, Michael owned and operated Wolff Welding in Aurora, Nebraska before dedicating three decades of his career as a skill instructor at the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology in Troy, Ohio where he retired in 2015.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Paula; his children, Ryan (Vicki) Wolff of Burke, Virginia, Tyler (Jessa) Wolff, and Ashley Wolff of Pataskala, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Aiden, Judd, and Jade. He is also survived by his sister, Pat (Duane) Wollenburg of Dewitt, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Barbara Wolff of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Roberta; his brother, Gary; and his cherished grandson, Will Hope Wolff.
A casual celebration of life will be held in Johnstown, Ohio and Aurora, Nebraska at later dates.
