Miriam Geneva Gorsuch Warner, 94, a life-long resident of Johnstown, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015, with her family by her side. Geneva was born on October 31, 1920 in Johnstown, Ohio. She grew up on a farm and enjoyed fishing in their creek with her brother, Bob. She worked at ASCS in Newark, Tech Rubber in Johnstown and spent a lifetime working on the farm. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, William and Iva (Hill) Gorsuch; sister, Hilda Gorsuch; brother, Robert Gorsuch; foster son, Charles Cook and granddaughter, Belinda Cook. She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Delmer B. Warner; sister, Lucille (John) Holbrook; sister-in-law, Ann Gorsuch; sons, Joe (Claudia) Warner, Bill (Theresa) Warner and daughter-in-law, Kay Cook. Geneva is also survived by ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Geneva was a member of Appleton United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star and a 7th degree member of the National Grange. She loved her family, flowers, hummingbirds and crocheting. She crocheted over 400 lap robes for the Licking County Aging Program to give to those in nursing homes. She will be remembered for the love she gave to all she came in contact with throughout the world. Family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5 to 8pm at the CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St. Johnstown, OH 43031. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10am at the Appleton United Methodist Church, 10927 Van Fossen Rd., Johnstown, OH, with Pastor Eva Marie Wolfe, Pastor David Warner and Russell Waddell officiating.
