

Norma J. Williams, 88, of Johnstown, went to her heavenly home on September 15, 2025. Norma was born December 12, 1936 in Western Licking Co., to the late Harry and Leota Pearl (Bailey) Lane. She graduated in 1954 from Alexandria High School, then lived almost her entire adult life in Johnstown.
In the late 1950’s, before marrying, she commuted by bus to downtown Columbus where she worked as an “I.B.M. Operator.” In the 1960’s she along with her husband Charlie, was a founding member of the Johnstown Independent Baptist Church, and then served for decades as an officer. Many will remember her as the contact person at Cham-Cor Industries and later, at her husband’s accounting firm.
In addition to her parents, Norma is also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie and several siblings. She is survived by her children, Steve and Lisa (Mark); grandchildren, Briana (Steven), Keegan, Britney (Donny), Cameron (Kim), Lindsey, Mark (fiancée Mackenzie), and Melaney (fiancé Chris); five great-grandchildren; sisters, Lilah and Barbara; and brothers, Mark (Diana) and Roger.
Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at Johnstown Independent Baptist Church, 7397 Johnstown-Alexandria Rd., Johnstown, OH 43031 with Pastor Dan Scarberry officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnstown Independent Baptist Church in Norma’s memory.
