Patricia Ann Smith

Patricia Ann Smith, 85, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully at her residency at Brookdale Trillium Crossing on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. She was born on April 4, 1930 in Delaware, OH, a daughter to the late Raymond and Marjorie (Swift) Law. She has two surviving brothers, Tom (Yvonne) Law who reside in Oregon and Bob (Patsy) Law who reside in Florida. Patricia married Donald Phillimore in 1947, whom preceded her in death. Patricia and Donald were married for thirty years maintaining their residence in Crestline, OH for most of that time. While in Crestline, Patricia worked for ITT. Patricia married Louis Smith on May 2, 1987, whom preceded her in death. They were married in Galion, OH at The United Methodist Church. Patricia and Louis moved to Marco Island, FL and opened Pat’s Hallmark Store, complete with a Post Office in the back. They retired in 2006. Pat and Louis were members of United Church of Marco Island, FL for several years. They moved back to Ohio on July 4, 2014. Patricia has three children, Patricia (Terence) Ryan, Terri (Craig) Mosier and Donald Phillimore; four step-children, Cindy Madson, Dave Smith, Sue Smith and Nancy Smith; five grandchildren, Michael (Kristina) Morton, Christina (Shawn) Cunix, Heather (Matt) Gardner, Crystal Weir, Lindsay (Jody) Branson; five step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at The Trillium, 3500 Trillium Crossing, Columbus, OH 43235, with Chaplain Len Martin officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to James Cancer Hospital in Patricia’s memory.
