Raymond Earl Speck Sr.

Raymond Earl Speck, Sr., 83 passed away peacefully on May 8, 2015 with his family at his side. He was born on July 25, 1931 in Rushtown, OH, a son to the late Charles W. and Emma P. (Kidder) Speck. He is also preceded in death by his daughter Cathy Carr; brothers, Paul Speck and Calvin Speck and sisters, Lucille Conrad and Opal Kinnaman. Raymond is survived by his wife of 60 years Patricia J. Speck; his son Raymond Speck, Jr and daughter-in-law Marilyn “Susie” Speck; grandsons Christopher (Alison), Jeff (Ashley) and Adam Speck; four great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; brothers, Herman, Ralph, and David Speck and sister; Kate Smith. Raymond owned a Shell and Texaco station before driving a truck for CF for 27 years. After retiring he helped co-found K-Ceps Auto Body with his son Ray Jr. Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 12, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM at the Johnstown Presbyterian Church, 81 S. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031; where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Kevin Heckathorn officiating. Interment Green Hill Cemetery.
