

Richard N. Hall, 84, of Johnstown, passed away on February 6th at home. Richard was born on August 3, 1931 in Bennington Township, Licking County to the late Gerald W. and Juanita (Parsons) Hall. He was a 1949 graduate of Johnstown High School and a 1953 graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Agricultural Economics.
Richard was a member of the Johnstown United Methodist Church, a member and past master of Center Lodge #86 F&AM of Johnstown and Wahneta Chapter #235 Order of the Eastern Star in Pataskala. He retired from Motorists Insurance Companies with 35 years of service. Richard served in the U.S. Army being stationed with the 14th Ordinance Battalion at White Sands Proving Ground in New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice JoAnn Hall and his three day old infant sister, Joan Deloris. Richard is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael W. and Julia R. Hall and grandsons, Andrew Joseph “AJ” and Nicholas Wesley all of Wadsworth, Ohio. He loved and was extremely proud of each of his grandsons for their academic and athletic achievements.
Richard and JoAnn enjoyed traveling and had traveled to all 50 states and to Europe. He enjoyed working in his yard and garden. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnstown United Methodist Church, 159 S. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031 or The Salvation Army, 340 E. Fulton St., Columbus, OH 43215 in Richard’s memory.
