Robert “Chris” Marks, 62, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in Johnstown, OH. He was born on September 18, 1958 in Lincoln, NE, a son to the late Robert “Bob” and Delores “Dee” Marks. Chris retired from Kroger after 40 years of employment. He enjoyed collecting numerous things and was loving and generous. He also enjoyed watching OSU Football and NFL games on TV. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Janet Marks; sister, Penny Goins; children, Amy (James) Hodge and Josh (Kacy) Marks; granddaughter, Jamey Hodge; four stepchildren; seven step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Scott Marks and nephew, Nick Stagg. Honoring the family’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, Post 254, 180 W. Maple St., Johnstown, OH 43031 or Ohio Historical Society, 1982 Velma Ave., Columbus, OH 43211 in Chris’ memory.

I am so sorry for your loss. Chris was always so kind to me and the kids when we were in the store. When they weren’t with me , he would always ask about them.
