Winnie F. Jasper, 88, of Alexandria, Ohio passed away peacefully at her residence on April 27, 2025. She was born on December 30, 1936, in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late Johnnie and Helen (Gibson) Vincent.
Winnie worked for many years at the Johnstown Northview Nursing Home and retired from the Alexandria Public Library. She loved every animal and took in any abandoned or injured animal she met. Winnie loved to spend time with her family and was truly a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Winnie is survived by her three loving sons; James (Carol) Jasper, Bruce Jasper, and Brad (Lisa) Jasper; grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Burchinal, Mindy Jasper, Jarid (Ashley) Jasper, Matthew (Amber) Jasper, Justin (Khuê) Jasper, and Kayla (Grant) Jasper; six great-grandchildren; best companion, Stray her beloved cat; sisters, Dorothy Pippenger and Carolyn McCune; brother, Larry Vincent; and brother-in-law, Paul Jasper. In addition to her parents, Winnie is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Jasper; stepmother, Inabelle Vincent; brother, John Vincent; and sister, Patricia Helton.
