Gosh, I can not even remember when I met MiMi, but she would never let me call her Carol though. She was such an inspiration to life, I always was wanted to accomplish things just like her. She had a special place for friends in heart, as well as family, meaning we all were treated as her own. The passion she showed for her city, was without a doubt amazing, she was always a voice for her community. I was always shocked when she kept working and volunteering after she retired. I loved listening to stories of her past, because you felt like you were right there with her when they were happening. I can not bear to think about the pain and sorrow of those who were extremely close to her, she will forever be in our hearts and watching over you. I pray for the Lopez family as they attempt to get through this tragic event, she will definitely be watching over you guys to make sure you all are ok. Life will never be the same without her, but we shall hold tight of all the memories good and bad, in remembrance of her! Love you MiMi!!

I met Carol a few years ago as she served on the Board of Commissioners of the Jonesboro Housing Authority. Carol is such an amazing, caring, expressive and funny lady, we had so many giggles and conversations about numerous situations, especially about one of her favorite tv shows. She will always be Remembered and loved. Extending Blessings to the Family.
