One of our favorite memories of all time.  We love and miss Cassie very much.  

Honoring Cassie

For all who knew her, our deep sadness is normal. That sadness will eventually subside and be replaced by a fond remembrance of a very beautiful life. 

Just ask yourself what you loved about Cassie. 

Her love of the beautiful things? She observed life all around - and then created happy paintings, sketches and other art that demonstrated her positive inner thoughts. Her sense of style was impeccable.

Her indomitable spirit? Her typical attitude was - “don’t tell me I can’t do so-and-so” (fill in the blank). If there was a person who was the ultimate “adapter” – it was Cassie. Somehow, she just didn’t allow the medical issues to change what a “happy heart” person she was.

Or maybe, her ability to make you her friend? As Justin remarked to me, everyone she met loved her. People just naturally gravitate to someone who radiates positiveness. 

On Saturday the 8th, I could not fail to observe the closeness of the extended family. Loving parents Eric and Kelly, who simply gave all to provide saintly support for her many vital needs over many years. 

When looking at the hundreds of photos over her years from toddler, young girl to young woman, one can clearly see that she adored both Justin and Dawkins.

These boys/men, Justin and Dawkins, were just great brothers to their sister. These humble gentlemen (gentlemen in the truest sense of that word) also provided endless, unconditional love and support to Cassie – the finest love available. 

One thing is for sure, you/we won’t forget – because you/we can’t forget Cassie, and what she gave to each of us.

In a month, or six, or ten, you will have a memory of Cassie pop into your mind. - You will NOT be able to stop her. - Something that reminds you of something she said or something she did with you. That’s when she’s sending you another message - that she loved and loves you.

A smile will let her know – you love her too – forever.      Uncle Steve

Cassie was the sweetest person. We are so sad to hear about her passing. She would come hang out with Baileigh but would actually hang out with me, it was amazing. We will pray for your family and friends, way too young to go. Please keep us updated of any services
