Charles retired from the U.S Army after 32 years of service. He also retired as a Fire Fighter. He loved racecars, avid Bears and Cubs fan, loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sherrill Mitchell; seven children, Melody Subject, Marilyn Mitchell, Denise Rowden, Randy Humphrey, Michelle Mitchell, Scott Mitchell, and Samantha Jones,
Charles and Sherrill also have an honorary son Jarel Draper, 32 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one more on the way
Funeral Service will be Friday, December 8, 2017 at 3pm at Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Georgia.
