

A Time To Be Born- On March 4, 1948 in Senatobia, Mississippi, Clifton Booker, Sr. and Mary Bell Brunt was blessed with their first child, (Clifton Booker, Jr.).
A Time To Plant- believing that Jesus Christ died for our sins and arose again, Clifton accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. He became a member of the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Como, Mississippi. Clifton also served the Lord as a Deacon at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church & Life Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
A Time To Love- While attending college at Mississippi Valley State College, Clifton fell in love with Dorothy Alexander. They united in holy matrimony on December 25, 1970. Together they had Kimberly Booker and Kevin Booker.
A Time To Work- Clifton dedicated his time to the federal government by working at the IRS and the US Department of Labor as an Auditor. Clifton retired after committing over 35 years of service.
A Time To Die- On the morning of Thursday, August, 11, 2011 at 1:55 A.M., Clifton made his transition into heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
A Time To Mourn- Treasuring his memories are Dorothy Booker, College Park, GA; a daughter Kimberly Booker, Fairburn, GA; a son Kevin Booker, Atlanta, GA; a brother, Clarence Booker, Memphis, TN; sister Mennie Lee (DeWitt), Coldwater, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A Time To Smile- Clifton is experiencing joy, peace, and happiness with God and his loved ones that have preceded him in death.
Arrangements are under the direction of Tara Garden Chapel.
