Although David was older than I growing up, he was always very kind and nice to those in the neighborhood where we grew up. He will be remembered with a smile always. My deepest sympathy to his family and those he held close to his heart - my prayers are with you in your grief.

I can’t tell you Daddy, how many tears I’ve cried, since the day I was told, my precious Dad had died. It seems so impossible, although I know it’s true, as everything I see around, reminds me of you. I can still hear your laughter and see your smiling face, I would have lost my sanity, if not, for Gods saving grace. I have to close this letter now, but this is not goodbye, for you will forever, be with me, in my heart and mind.

Until we meet again.

I am so blessed to have met you and become your friend. I will miss our conversations about kids grandkids and everything in between. From headaches to heartaches and life it self you were always there to lend and ear. You touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.
