David Wayne Rogers

Mr. David Wayne Rogers age 61 of Jonesboro, Georgia passed Saturday, December 12, 2015. He was raised in Lafayette, Louisiana where he started his family. Due to the big oil field crash in 1986 he relocated his family to Jonesboro, Georgia. David is preceded in death by two sons, David William Rogers and Timothy James Rogers, his parents J.T. and Bernice Rogers, also one brother Daniel Thomas Rogers. He leaves to cherish loving memories wife, Jacklin Rogers, two children Jacqueline Dela Rosa of Jonesboro, GA and Billy (Kimberly) Rogers of McDonough, GA., grandchildren, Jessica Rogers, Brandi Rogers, Katie Rogers, Payton Bourque, J.T. Gonzalez, Yuvani Gonzalez, NeNe Gonzalez, Adam Dela Rosa and Shannon Roy, brother Dennis Rogers of Lafayette, LA, sisters Gwendolyn (Harry) Roy of Fort Wayne, IN and Diane Rogers-Credure of Parks, LA., and a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to Sacred Journey Hospice Care. Very special thanks to Reggie, Brittany and Jackie also to Dr. Gupta.

Visitation will be held Monday December 14, 2015 4pm-8pm at Tara Garden Chapel. Funeral Services Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 1:00pm Tara Garden Chapel, Jonesboro, Georgia. Interment Sherwood Memorial Park.
