Deborah Diane White

Deborah Diane White, age 65, of Rex, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. She was surrounded by her family and close friends. Anyone that was younger than her all knew her as "Mama". Debbie loved so deeply and was so deeply loved. She was a homemaker and her greatest love was for her family. She’d always go out of her way to ensure that all she loved were cared for and accounted for.

Debbie was preceded in death by her husband Wayne White in 1999, her daughter Kimberly White in 2000 and her mother Lela Knowles in 2013.

Debbie is survived by her aunt Dolly Langley, sister Lynn McCall, her son Jason Chambless (Stefony Chambless) and daughter LeAnn Newingham (Terry Newingham), five grandchildren; Kristal Chambless, Kelby Chambless, Matthew Chambless, Brianna Newingham and Terry Jr. Newingham; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of her life service will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 2:00PM at Tara Garden Chapel, 681 North Ave, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236.

Interment Service will be held following the Celebration of Life at 3:30PM at Sherwood Memorial, 6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236.

From Debbie's all-time favorite movie, Fried Green Tomatoes, Ninny Threadgoode said it best: "You know, a heart can be broken, but it keeps on beating, just the same."

A memorial service for Deborah will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Tara Garden Chapel, 681 North Ave, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236.
