Doris Collins

Mrs. Doris Collins, age 88 of McDonough GA passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012. Mrs. Collins enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and shopping. Above all else, she loved her family and friends the most. She always put others ahead of herself. Her husband, Thomas Lamar Collins and her son, Thomas Lamar Collins, Jr. preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sharon Collins Godbee (Gerald) of McDonough; grandchildren Cheryl Morris (Glenn) of Fayetteville, Stephanie Meyer (Noel) of Fayetteville, Pamela Haney of McDonough, Susan Godbee of Atlanta, Jennifer Banks (Michael) of Jackson, Abigail Renschler (Jason) Arizona; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 16, 2012 from

6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral will be Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in College Park, GA.
