Dorothy W. Upchurch

She is survived by her children, Richard Alan Wallace and his wife Suzanne, of Conyers, Georgia, David William Wallace, and his wife Jaylene, of Denver, Colorado, and Timothy Brian Wallace of Riverdale, Georgia, and stepson Michael Gary Upchurch and wife Beverley, of Alabaster, Alabama. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jamie, William, Brian, Phillip, Kim, and Cynthia great grandchildren Aubrey, Jacob, Sean, Chloe, Mia, Bly, and Isabella, her sister, Sarah W. Simpson, of Fayetteville, Georgia, and daughter-in-laws Lynn Wallace of Morrow, Georgia and Shirley Upchurch of Franklin, Tennessee.

Dorothy was born in Stonewall, Georgia, retired from the Georgia State Patrol, and was a former long time member of Riverdale Presbyterian Church and a current member of the Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, Morrow, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at the Tara Garden Chapel, 681 North Avenue, Jonesboro on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Dr. Stephen Austin, will be on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tara Garden Chapel. Interment will take place at the College Park Cemetery, 735 Virginia Avenue, College Park, Georgia.
