Doyal M. Barnett

Doyal M. Barnett age 76 of Riverdale, GA died February 3, 2012. Mr. Barnett was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Doyal served his country during the Korean Conflict. He dedicated his life to serving others.

Doyal was preceded in death by his wife and the love of his life, Mary Anita Barnett. He is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Laurie and Eddy Steele of Dallas and Lavonne and Tim Ferguson of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Mitch Steele of Smyrna and Ian Steele of Marietta; great grandchildren, Dana, Deuce, Damian, Donovan and Riley; sister and brother in law, Becky and Danny Moulder of Woodstock; nephew, Chris and Ada Moulder of Woodstock. He is also survived by his loving companion, Corine Deyton of Forest Park.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Tara garden Chapel with interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements 770-471-7171.
