Dear Evelyn, my American "mama" and my children's "grandmother",
Never did I think when we bought a house next to yours in the Curran Street that you and Howell and your mama would spend birthdays and Christmas Eves with us for years to come. I THANK you for everything we have shared! I THANK you for the LOVE you gave to us all. I THANK you for coming to see Gabi dancing in her Nutcracker...my own mama lived thousands of miles away in Finland. 
I lost my mama this week too...from Parkinsons, but I know in my heart that you TWO meet in Heavens. Have wonderful time. My mama will tell you lots of stories, and you can tell her yours two. I love you both forever forever...I am grateful for having you in my life!  

My condolences go out to each one of you. But let us remember happy times together. She is with Jesus now where she is very happy and loved

I will always remember you girl for the love and friendship you gave me.

Evelyn had an ever-ready smile and a generous heart.  And every conversation was concluded with, “I love you”.
Some things I know about my dear neighbor are that first she loved the Lord and close after that she loved her family and then she loved everybody else.
I shall miss her dearly and grievie her loss. She lived a great life, one she loved, and fulfilled her mission on this plane. I feel blessed to have known her.

My mothers love will live forever. No one can embrace you like she could. The warm arms around your neck gave you a feeling of safety. Her smile so beautiful. Her joy was catching. She loved God, her children, her Grand children and great great grand children. She loved her neighbors and she loved her friends. She loved her family and all it encompassed. 
If you were feeling low just talking to her made you feel good. 
I will miss my beautiful mother every day for the rest of my life. To know I cannot go see her is the worst feeling in the world. She will always live in my heart. 
She meant so much to so many people. She was loved by everyone who ever met her. 
I have lost my mother but Heaven has gained a beautiful soul.
Mother here’s our last phone call, “Ichliebdich, forever.”

Sister Parks always had a smile on her face. She had a way of lighting up a room. What I will remember most is her love for her family. The way she looked at her children, grand children, and great grand children with complete love and adoration. We love you always Sister Parks.
