Fred Schreiner, age 77, entered into rest March 15, 2011 at Henry Medical Center. He was born in Polfing-Brunn, Austria and was a long time resident of the Atlanta area. Fred was retired and previously employed as a beverage manager. His love of the outdoors gave him great comfort during his retirement years. One would find him working in his yard, planting flowers or working in his garden. He loved sharing items from his garden and yard with family and neighbors. His specialty was being in the kitchen, cooking for his family. Fred is survived by his wife Paulette Schreiner, three daughters, Ingrid Oliver and her husband Paul of Newnan, GA, Christina Cotton and Sean of Peachtree City, GA, Stephanie Schreiner of Atlanta, GA, granddaughter, “The Little One”, Layla Cotton of Peachtree City, GA, two brothers, Pepi Schreiner of Switzerland, Hans Schreiner and his wife Annie of Polfing-Brunn, Austria, two sisters, Ingrid Brandner and husband Christian of Polfing - Brunn, Austria, Maria Eck of Polfing-Brunn, Austria. He was preceded in death by his parents Josef & Maria Schreiner. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M Saturday, March 19, 2011 at First Christian Church of Fairburn, Georgia.
