    Thank you mama! Your light shines so bright to me. I was new to our middle school and literally came in the middle of the year . I was shy and sheltered, but you came to me and introduced yourself. You made me feel comfortable being myself! I loved laughing with you and making so many jokes . You always made sure I knew to stay the same . I’m sorry to say I lost my way many times and didn’t stick to that true , fun loving, goofy person I was . It’s sad that you had to leave this earth, but as you left your lasting power still stands. Words can’t even explain how I feel. I met you in 10th grade, you introduced yourself to me and we instantly clicked. We were inseparable that year. You were always so considerate and loving. I remember us constantly driving around with you beautifully singing while I tried not to kill us. I remember us always joking around, there was never a dull moment with you. We would always be laughing. I honestly can’t believe that you are gone. I am  grateful that you were part of my life and grateful that you left me with such wonderful memories. I miss you so much. My dearest cousin, Lupita, I hurt to say that I’ll miss you. Somehow I wish you could have pulled through because you left us too soon. But I know that you suffered and fought hard. You were so very strong, beautiful, and brighter than the stars. You were our sunshine and happiness. I could never forget growing along with you since we were so small. And now all I have left is memories to look back upon. However, you also left us a beautiful blessing, your very own child. So as hard as it is to say, we’ll miss you so much cousin. there's so much that's going through my head and all I can think about are the memories that we had. I remember meeting you in 8th grade and realizing how much of a silly girl you were. You and I connected because we had the same name and we played the viola. You always had jokes, and you were so bold. No one could tell you anything. You always tried to encourage me to speak up knowing how shy I was. You were literally my comfort. You were definitely your zodiac sign- a cancer. You were so caring, protective, and selfless. I'll remember how you looked at me funny for listening to Nirvana, you looked at me like I was crazy. Years later you got me a Nirvana mug. Just goes to show how considerate you were. I wish I could go back in time to relive the memories. I'll miss you forever Lupe.

Lupe, I miss you so much I still can’t believe that you aren’t here with us. But, I still won’t forget the memories we had together with our cousins. You made things so fun and you put a smile on everyone’s face. You were like a sister to me making me and everyone else happy. Who would of thought that you would be leaving this earth so soon. Your now going to be watching over us and watching your son. A son who is going to have lots of  love from everyone around him and will have great care. I’m sorry that we weren’t able to see our kids grow up together and call us aunties or “nana” .I promise that one day your son and my kids will go to all those amusement parks you wanted to go together . Sadly you won’t be with us physically but I know you’ll be watching over us. 
I’m very thankful that in God’s design he planned it so that your path would cross mine. All I can do is hope that our paths will cross again one day. Meanwhile I miss that beautiful smile , your crazy jokes , and even all those face expressions you made. I’m going to miss those car rides where we sang together and went on crazy adventures. I’ll miss those moments where we both were so comfortable to be ourselves in front of each other. You pushed me to try new things and I’ll never forget that one time we went to a river and you felt like something was crawling on your feet and you quickly got out and came back in with socks on. 
You left me with sooo much great memories and I just wish you were here to make more….
Our friendship was unique and baby girl none can replace that ! You know I always wanted the best for you as you did for me . You were so kind, loving and always giving . If only God would have given you more time ….

Lupita 🥺 im going to forever miss you. You are my little sister that I love unconditionally. I remember when you used to create different sandwhiches when we didnt want a regular sandwhich. Moment you moved out to start your life i would always call to see when you could come over and make me a sandwich.
